New America’s Fellows Program invests in thinkers—journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts—who offer inventive perspectives on the major challenges facing our society.

Since its inception in 1999, New America has been an intellectual home to more than 200 National Fellows, resulting in the publication of more than 100 books, 13 feature-length documentary films, and several award-winning longform reporting projects.

Books published by New America National Fellows include four Pulitzer Prize winners, four Pulitzer Prize finalists, 15 New York Times bestsellers, and 92 books and films were reviewed in the New York Times.
